Katherine Ann (Kathy) Teeples Shughart, 49, passed away Wednesday, January 31st at her residence. Kathy was the Assistant Manager at Answer Tel where she was employed for 27 years. She was a founding member of Lighthouse Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Salem.
Visitation will be Thursday February 1, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm at Spry Funeral Home, with services being Friday February 2, 2018 at 11 am at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Lambert, Rev. James Swindle, Pastor Chris Teeples and Rev. Steven Thrasher officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Chris Teeples, Nathan Teeples, Jonathan McGuire, Andrew Teeples, Austin Scott, Jay Reynolds, Cody Tovar, and Joe McGuire.
Kathy is survived by her Mother, Gwen Furline Teeples. Sister, Marie (Job) McGuire. Brother, Chris (Megan) Teeples. Nephews, Jonathan (Amber) McGuire, Nathan Teeples, Andrew Teeples, and Benjamin Teeples. Kathy was preceded in death by her Father, J.D. (Johnny) Teeples. The family ask that memorial donations be made to, Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, 20012 Kimzy Carr Rd. Athens, AL 35614.
