The JV Red Devils picked up two big wins at the JV soccer tournament hosted by East Limestone last weekend. After falling to East Limestone on Friday, the Red Devils put two in the win column on Saturday. Colby Bradfield and Brandon Aguilar scored against Mars Hill in the first game on Saturday, leading Elkmont to a 2-0 victory.
The Red Devils fought to a tough win over 6A Hazel Green by a final score of 2-1 in their second game. One goal was scored off of a Hazel Green player, and Nehemias Vicente also found the back of the net. Goalie James Hernandez had numerous saves in both games. Both boys’ teams play on Tuesday, February 20, with the JV playing Ardmore at home at 6:30 pm and the Varsity playing at Tanner at 7:30 pm.
