Lady Devil JV - only had two runners in this one; Nikki Ristau came in 13th with a time of 20:12; Marianna Cooper finished 22 with a time of 23:08
Lady Devil Varsity - second place team finish
Sammi Jo Pressnell was first Elkmont runner in and finished second out 37 runners; 23:57
Fifth place went to Jansen Pugh with a time of 25:30.
To round out the top ten, Hannah Hanback and Stephanie Clem were only two seconds apart and took seventh and eight place with times of 26:06 and 26:08.

Sept 1 - The Running Devils had a great race in the XC Pepsi Challenge at Lawrence County High School in Moulton, Alabama. The boys came in third in the team placements. In individual rankings Tyler Helms came in third place overall, Adam McMahan came in 14th overall and Chance Bailey came in 19th overall in our section. Samantha Jo Pressnell came in 10th overall in the girls' division. The top ten won medals and t-shirts and the top twenty were recognized with shirts.
Sept 8 - The Elkmont Red Devils Cross County Team had a strong showing at the Chickasaw Trails cross-country race at the Oakville Indian Mounds. . Limestone County’s top runner was Elkmont’s Tyler Helms, who finished in eighth overall in the Class 1A – 4A boys race with a time of 17:51. Helms helped Elkmont to an 11th place finish while Athens Bible finished in 13th and Clements 26th out of 39 teams in the race.
In the small schools girls race, Elkmont’s Samantha Pressnell was the county’s top runner with a time of 22:57.
