Ruby Jo Martin, 66 of Elkmont, Alabama died on Monday, September 17, 2012, at her home.
Born Monday, January 7, 1946 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Bent Moore and the late Nona Hodges Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Bobby Gerald Martin, and a grandson: Brandon Eugene Martin. She attended Kelly's Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and her grandchildren.

Surviving are son, Tim (Marci) Martin of Elkmont, AL, daughter, Melissa Jo (Tim) McDaniel of Madison, AL, brother, J.B. Moore of Elkmont, AL, sister, Barbara Gates of Ardmore, AL, one grandson Chad Andrew Martin, two stepgrandchildren: Amanda Adams and Angie Johnson; and four step great-grandchildren: Belle Henson, Josephine Pylant, Crystal Johnson, and Levi Johnson.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Bro. Roger Cothren officiating.
