ELKMONT YOUTH FOOTBALL HAS STARTED

Youth football has started.  Elkmont has a Midget (4-5 grade) and a Mini-Midget team (2-3 grade).  There wasn't enough interest for a sixth grade team.  The Elkmont Mini-Midget team is coached by Jason Randolph and Brian Hill and are projected to have a really good season.  The Midget team is coached by Brian Lawrence. The Elkmont Midget Red Devils played in a pre-season tournament this week.  They lost the first game to Athens, 13 - 0 .  However they came back and beat West Limestone 12-6 on Sept. 1.    There were three teams in the tournament - Athens was 1st, followed by us and then West. Hope to get a schedule and roster for these teams later this week.
