MAKE YOUR OWN INSTANT OATMEAL

The fall is on it's way and school is already here. It's time to think about getting a good breakfast into our families. Oatmeal is a great option, cheap, good for you and easy to make. Let's face it kids are more willing to eat oatmeal when it comes in little packets and they can choose the kind they want that day. The answer, make your own. Below there are a few suggestions for instant oatmeal flavors but why not let the kids help create their own special mix. Pull out the dried fruits and nuts and let them go to town. You can easily double or triple this recipe so it will last for a while. You will not only save on cost but also eliminate all those additives in commercial packets.
