Mr. Rutherford was born April 16, 1944 in Florida to Luther McKinley Rutherford and Nellie Mae Mize. Services for Mr. Rutherford are Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery with Marshal Norman and Doug Colwell officiating. He loved playing guitar and being with family. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Frye Rutherford; son, David Rutherford and wife Misty of Elkmont; daughters, Dewella Crabb and husband Joseph of Minor Hill, TN, Alicia Rothrock and husband Raymond and Charlotte Bailey and husband Daryl both of Okeechobee, FL; brother, James Rutherford and wife Linda of Elkmont; sister, Betty Causey of Florida; 6 grand children He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Louise Purvis; brothers, Clarence Rutherford, John Rutherford, Robert Rutherford, Charles Rutherford and Raymond Rutherford. Pallbearers are John Crabb, Joe Miller, Anthony Crabb, Justin Rutherford, Carl Smith and Bradley McKinney.
