Services will be Friday, April 8, 2016 4:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Marshall Norman officiating and other speakers. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Survived by his parents, Peter and Christine Mayer of Athens; one brother, Kraig Mayer of Athens; grandparents, Louis and Christie Mayer of Lake George, NY; fiancé, Madison Terrell of Athens; and many friends in Elkmont.
In lieu of flowers make donations to the Axel Mayer Memorial Fund at Compass Bank.
