A DAY IN THE LIFE OF CHIEF DONNIE

WOW...Town of Elkmont was hopping this Saturday, 150 bikers left out for the 30, 60, and 100 mile races. The farmers market was full, the Birds Nest, U.G White, the Paper Trail had a steady flow of folks. Belle Chevre had 2 tour buses come in.

The Richard Martin Trail was covered with joggers, horse and bike riders. I have been sitting here trying to help people calibrate their speedometers on their vehicles. So far I've found five that must be defective because their drivers didn't know they were going that fast.  Always willing to serve others, I have helped citizens realize they may need glasses because they didn't see that big ol' sign that reads "25".  Yes, I'm as busy as a one legged river dancer. BE SAFE! You are family and friends.
