ELECTRICFIL IS GROWING IN ELKMONT

Electricfil (EFI) Automotive is celebrating ten years of business and announcing they’ll be adding more than 100 employees over the next five years. Patrick Thollin, CEO, said that Electricfil will bring on new engineers, technicians and other workers. They will bring their workforce of 175 employees to 300 by 2020.  The company just added $2.5 million of upgrades to the $20 million plant.

EFI Automotive makes ignition systems and transmission and climate control sensors. It will be one of Limestone County’s  top manufacturing employers.

Today EFI Automotive held a grand opening ceremony for their North American corporate headquarters office in Elkmont, bringing more than one hundred jobs to Limestone County! EFI Automotive has been investing in the community for over 10 years and it was great to have the opportunity to thank them for their commitment to North Alabama.

LOCAL PERSPECTIVE:
Celebrating 10 years of production at our EFi North American Headquarters in Elkmont was a special day for many of us. For me 10 years have been a blur...We have been in Elkmont this long and still I have people ask me where we are and what we do. Mostly I get, oh you work at Snap On...They think just because that's the only place you can see from the road that's all that is here. Great things are
happening in our small town everyday. We employ many Elkmont graduates; here they will learn new cultures and ideas by being introduced to people from all over the world. From design, sales, production to delivery we are making our mark. It's so great to live, work and play in Elkmont.
