Always fun, always anticipated, shouldn't be missed, Field Day was today.
Each year in the last weeks of school, Elkmont has its elementary field day. It should be on every parent's bucket list to attend once before their baby grows out of those early school years.
The tug of war event is the crowning jewel of field day; hotly contested, very loud, being a champion is a thing of great pride.
