Raegan Morell, daughter of Jessica Solomon Morell and Brian Morell, has had more than her share of life's trials. We of the Elkmont community have been following the story of this little family. CHD and several heart complications. She had open heart surgery to repair all the problems to her heart, get a feeding tube and to add a pacemaker. After receiving her new heart at the end of March, she has struggled to recover but Raegan is very, very sick and at only 6 months old, has never been home or out of the hospital. We found out last week that she has a blockage in her aortic arch and it requires her to have ANOTHER open heart surgery, but due to her blood pressure being border line stroke, she wasn't able to have the surgery. This baby has been through so much and we could really use the prayers!!
In the effort to bring a healthy little one home, financial burdens are piling high for this young family. Applebees is helping out by allowing us to have a pancake fundraiser thi Saturday, May, 23rd in Athens from 8-10 am. Please come and support us (tickets are $5) in our efforts to help Raegan by coming out and eating with us or just simply give a donation. It would be such a blessing to this family and we would be forever thankful. She also has a GO FUND ME account. Every dollar goes straight to help Raegan.
