The funeral service for Dorothy Hughes Raney Hunt, age 72, of Elkmont will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Brother Tim Lanier and Brother James Oliver officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2015: 6-9 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hunt passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born September 13, 1942 in Limestone County, AL to Onnie L. Hughes and Mary Lee Jackson Hughes.
Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by her parents, first husband John E. Raney, second husband Joseph Fred Hunt, three brothers David Hughes, Charles Hughes, Phillip Hughes, one sister Mabel Harris.
She is survived by one daughter Glenda Raney, granddaughter Kayla Jo Hunt, special niece Mary Hughes Bickel, three brothers James Hughes and wife Elaine, Edward Hughes, Bill Hughes and wife Ann, two sisters Geneva Downs, Martha Burchell and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rod Burchell, Greg Burchell, Michael Hughes, Roger Haggard, Frankie Raney, and Larry Taliaferro.
