Services will be Wednesday, March 9, 2016 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ray Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m., prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
The loves of her life were her children and grandchildren. Barbara was a Christian, and avid Alabama fan and she loved Elvis Presley. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful heart.
Peceded in death by her father, Wilbur Brunson; one sister, Janice Lynn Brunson; one nephew, Stacy Lewis.
Survived by one daughter, Samantha Cobb Nalley and husband, Jason of Athens, one son, Jeffrey Wayne Cobb and Ashley Behel of Russellville, AL; one grandson, Jaxon Wayne Nalley of Athens mother Nancy Brunson of Athens; five sisters, Diana Lewis and husband, Michael, Nadine Brunson, Becky McClear and husband, Rob all of Athens, Christine Smith fiancé Hill of Tuscaloosa, AL and Pamela Brunson Hastings of Athens; two brothers, Dewayne Brunson of Athens and Robert Brunson and wife, Peggy of Elkmont; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Brunson, Jason Nalley, Jason Perry, Justin Miller, Johnny Carter, Christian Clemmons and Jeffery Cobb. Honorary pallbearers will be brothers and sisters.
