The Elkmont Red Devils survived a nail-biter, defeating Mars Hill, 2-1 under the lights at Boss Hill Stadium.
Juan Mendoza and Daniel Valencia scored the goals, while Alex Alvarado added an assist. Tee Boyd, in his debut as goalie, had six saves.
The Kicking Red Devils play at Ardmore on Thursday, with the girls’ game starting at 4:30 pm followed by the boys’ game at 6:30.
