ELKMONT IN MEMPHIS
On Friday, February 26, Elkmont High School FCCLA & FFA (Future Farmers of America) visited Memphis, Tennessee.
Elkmont FFA attended the Farm & Gin Show at the Cook Convention Center.
Elkmont FCCLA visited the Memphis Zoo.
FCCLA made a stop at the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis to donate can tabs in honor of Leah Seibert. Two Elkmont Students, Christina Stacy & Alyssa Smith, planned and coordinated the can tab collection. They will be using this community service project as part of their State FCCLA STAR Event project on March 11 in Montgomery.
FCCLA is still collecting can tabs to be donated in the future.
